Why can't I send or receive email with large attachments?
Maximum message size of an email including all attachments is 15 megabytes. Mail messages larger than that limit will be rejected.
Encoding an attachment to fit within an email takes up more space than the file would normally use on your computer. So, with most files, you will only be able to send or receive a file attachment 12 megabytes or less in size.
