I recently registered a domain name with you and it still shows up as available for registration on another sites, why?
Internic issues your domain name in real time when you purchase through us, so your domain name is taken. Not all whois databases update in real time and some registrars might rely on a whois database to register domain names. If your domain name isn't in their whois database they will think (for a few days) that it can be registered. If you attempted to register this domain name it would never register with the other site. The name has already been issued and it isn't possible for another registrar to issue the same domain again. |
